Psalm 118:24 – This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Each day is a wonderful gift from God and each person gets the same amount for each day! No one gets more than 24 hours and no one gets less than 24 hours, we all get 24 hours. But, the question is, what will we do with those 24 hours?
Some will choose to waste the day away, others will complain all day, some might try to avoid the day, while others might wish it was another day. But according to the verse each day is made by God. God makes each day for a reason and a purpose. Each day is a wonderful gift from God and we have a choice to make,how will use our day from God?
This verse tells us that we should rejoice and be glad! We should be thrilled that we have a day given to us from God. Make the most of your day: smile, have a spring in your step, and encouraging words on your lips! As a child of God we can rejoice and be glad because we know that each day that passes by is just one day closer until we can spend eternity with our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ! No matter what happens during the day, remember, heaven is still your home! So rejoice and be glad in the great gift of today, that is why it is called ‘the present.’
