I Corinthians 3:11 – For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
The final day of 2010 is finally upon us, where did the time go? On this last day of the year it is a good time to look back and see what happened in our lives and also a good time to look forward to the future.
What kind of foundation did we build upon this past year? Was it the foundation of Jesus Christ? If not, why? Jesus is the greatest foundation that any person can and should build upon. He is the ROCK of our salvation, the anchor that holds us in the storms of life, our mighty fortress when life comes rushing at us!
On this final day of the year may we look back and see what we accomplished for our Savior. Did we accomplish anything at all? If so, what was it? Being more faithful? A prayer warrior? A witness? A student of the WORD? As we take a moment to reflect let us take note on the positives and learn from our mistakes. A new year is ready to head our way and we can’t stop it. Let’s be prepared in 2011 to build our lives upon the foundation of Jesus. May 2011 be a year that we can say when it is finished that we built on the right foundation.
